All donations/payments made on our website using credit/debit card are processed directly by our merchant service providers Authorize.net and PayPal. Both Merchant service providers utilize end-to-end PCI-compliant solutions which meet all government and banking institution requirements defined by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.
The information you provide is used to process donors’ contributions, provide donation/tax receipts, generate donor reports, contact the user in case we have technical issues processing a donation, and to send program materials.
The EU’s General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) is in effect, and we support these regulations which further secure the internet and enable individual privacy for each user. If you are a visitor/customer located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described above will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it.
