Mishkah University offers undergraduate degrees in both the English and Arabic Language.
English Language Undergraduate Programs
ASSOCIATE DEGREE OF ISLAMIC STUDIES IN ENGLISH
This two-year program is designed to give students a solid foundation in Islamic basic disciplines and sciences. It consists of credits from 22 core courses (58 credits). Upon the completion of an Associate program, students may continue to complete their Bachelor of Science in Islamic studies in English.
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ISLAMIC STUDIES IN ENGLISH
The Bachelor’s program is a full Islamic studies program in English and consists of 46 courses including general education and electives(125 credits). It offers 41 core courses worth 113 credits from a wide range of departments including Arabic language, Quranic studies, hadith, spirituality, manners, Islamic theology, comparative religion, Islamic law, Islamic legal theory, Islamic history and civilization, Islamic thought, pedagogy and dawah. The program requires a student to take two general education courses (6 credits) and three electives (6 credits).
Arabic Language Undergraduate Programs
Associate Program in Islamic and Arabic Studies
This two-year program is designed to train students on basic Islamic and Arabic studies. A student is required to study 28 courses totaling 81 credit hours in Islamic creed, Quran sciences, hadith, Islamic law, Islamic history, Arabic language, and pedagogy.
BSc. in Islamic and Arabic Studies
This four-year BSc. program aims at training students in Islamic and Arabic studies. A student is expected to complete 127 core and elective credit hours, comprising 44 core courses and three elective courses. Subjects include Islamic theology, Quran sciences, Quran exegesis, Islamic pedagogy and da’wah, Islamic law and legal theory, Arabic language, Islamic history, and civilization, as well as manners and tazkiyah.
